"Reaksiyon Akademi Thursday Meetings" Continue

Reaksiyon Akademi was established in 2018 as an educational platform to create both technical and personal development infrastructure primarily for company employees, while also providing an opportunity for our customers and suppliers to share their experiences and expertise in their respective fields.

Under the Reaksiyon Akademi umbrella, numerous training seminars and webinars have been organized, and sector meetings bringing together paints and coatings industry manufacturers have been arranged to enable knowledge sharing. Within the framework of charitable initiatives in which company employees participated under the slogan #ReactToGoodness, libraries have been established in Anatolia.

During the pandemic period, trainings that continued online began to be organized in hybrid format starting from March 2021. At Reaksiyon Akademi Thursday meetings, this week's guest is Chemical Engineer Engin Kaya. The event, which will discuss the development of the rubber sector in the world and in Turkey along with key indicators, as well as new opportunities in the sector and the effects of the global raw material crisis on the rubber sector, will take place on 24 June April 2021. The event, which will also be shared via the Reaksiyon Akademi YouTube Channel, will include sector problems and solution proposals.  

WHO IS ENGİN KAYA?

Born in Trabzon in 1965. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Chemistry and Metallurgy, Department of Chemical Engineering in 1989. Since 1990, he has worked as a senior executive in the rubber and plastics sector in compounder, production, R&D and product engineering departments, primarily in the automotive and white goods industries, as well as in heavy industry, electrical cable manufacturing, and footwear manufacturing sectors. Engin Kaya, who is a Class A Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, provides consulting services to companies working in the rubber sector in rubber formulation, process setup and commissioning, product engineering, R&D, quality systems, and occupational health and safety matters.
