Webinar on "Net Zero Emission Future in the World and Europe and Its Effects on Turkey" to Be Held

Sabancı University Istanbul International Energy and Climate Center (IICEC) is organizing a webinar titled "Net Zero Emission Future in the World and Europe: Implications for Turkey". The webinar will take place on Friday, 9 July 2021 at 10:30. IICEC Board Member Kıvanç Zaimler will deliver the opening remarks, while International Energy Agency (IEA) Director Dr. Fatih Birol will give the keynote address. The guest speaker will be Dr. Alparslan Bayraktar, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources. The webinar will continue with a panel discussion titled "Business Perspective: Clean Energy Future". The panel will be moderated by Ebru Dildar Edin, Deputy General Manager of Garanti BBVA, and will feature speakers including Sinan Ak, CEO of Zorlu Energy; Enis Amasyalı, General Manager of Borusan EnBW Energy; Ahmet Erdem, Country Head of Shell Turkey; Zaur Gahramanov, CEO of SOCAR Turkey; and Hakan Yıldırım, CEO of Sanko Energy. The closing remarks will be delivered by IICEC Director Bora Şekip Güray.
