Tork Facility Upgrades Fire Safety

Form Endüstri Tesisleri, which develops safety- and efficiency-focused solutions for industrial buildings, raised fire safety standards to a higher level with an application carried out at Tork Bağlantı Elemanları's production facility. The Lamilux F100W smoke exhaust hatches integrated into the facility as part of the project provided significant contributions not only to emergency safety but also to energy efficiency and natural lighting.
Form Endüstri Tesisleri, which develops safety and efficiency-focused solutions for industrial structures, elevated fire safety standards to the highest level through an application at the Tork Bağlantı Elemanları production facility. Within the project scope, Lamilux F100W smoke extraction roof hatches integrated into the facility provided significant contributions in terms of emergency safety, energy efficiency and natural lighting.
The rapid and controlled evacuation of smoke generated during a fire in industrial facilities is of critical importance, while the systems used in the project stand out with their compliance to EN 12101-2 standards. The applied solution strengthens the existing fire safety infrastructure while supporting the safe evacuation of employees.
Safety and Efficiency Combined in One System
The Lamilux F100W systems selected for the project limit the spread of fire on roof surfaces thanks to their design in compliance with DIN 18234 standards. The structure, offering high durability, provides safe performance even in harsh weather conditions, while the electric piston mechanism enables natural ventilation not only in emergency situations but also in daily use. This feature improves air quality in production areas while reducing the need for mechanical ventilation and contributing to energy savings.
Additional features such as thermal and sound insulation, sun protection and hail resistance are among the elements supporting the system's sustainability performance.
Architectural and Functional Contribution Combined
The system, which draws attention with its modern design integrated into the roof surface, distributes daylight homogeneously into the interior space, creating a more comfortable working environment in production areas. At the same time, it presents an aesthetic appearance supporting the architectural integrity of the building's exterior facade.
