ADLINK Edge AI Platform Powers Noble Machines' General-Purpose Robots for Heavy Industry

Focus on Physical AI: Robust Computing Platforms Accelerate Automation Transformation in Construction and Mining

Physical Artificial Intelligence Focus: Robust Computing Platforms Accelerating Automation Transformation in Construction and Mining

• Strategic Partnership: ADLINK Technology combines forces with Noble Machines, an autonomous general-purpose robotics pioneer, integrating ADLINK's Edge AI platforms with Noble Machines' proprietary Autonomy Stack and AI-Driven Whole-Body Control system.
• Target Applications: Focus on heavy industries such as manufacturing, logistics, semiconductors, mining, oil and gas. This collaboration aims to transform high-risk and intensive operations into secure, automated workflows capable of real-time decision-making.

ADLINK Technology Inc., a global leader in Edge AI computing, announced today that it has signed a "Strategic Alliance and Joint Development Agreement" with Under Control Robotics Inc. / Noble Machines, a robotics startup developing fully integrated artificial intelligence autonomy for two-legged, two-armed general-purpose robots. This partnership combines ADLINK's high-performance Edge AI computing platforms with Noble Machines' Autonomy Stack and AI-Driven Whole-Body Control solution, aiming to accelerate the deployment and scaling of general-purpose robots capable of carrying heavy loads in the most challenging environments. This alliance represents a critical step in ADLINK's physical artificial intelligence and robotics strategy, extending edge computing platforms to next-generation general-purpose robotic systems targeting high-economic-value core sectors such as manufacturing, mining, construction, energy, petrochemicals and public utilities, which have long faced workforce shortages and safety challenges due to physically demanding tasks or hazardous environments.

To meet the intensive computing requirements of Noble Machines' general-purpose robots in complex scenarios, ADLINK offers the DLAP series Edge AI platform powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform for real-time reasoning artificial intelligence and sensor processing. Specifically designed for general-purpose robots, this platform enables Noble Machines to focus on optimizing the integration of artificial intelligence models and control systems across perception, reasoning, action and locomotion stages. Key technical specifications are as follows:

Key technical specifications:
1. Extreme environmental condition compatibility: Supports a wide operating temperature range and is certified to IEC 60068 standards for shock and vibration resistance; this ensures reliable operation in the dusty and high-vibration environments of mining and construction sites.
2. High-bandwidth sensing and communication: Integrates up to 8 PoC-enabled GMSL camera interfaces, 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports and expansion slots for 5G and Wi-Fi modules; enabling ultra-high-speed and low-latency transmission of environmental sensing data.
3. Industrial-grade power management: The system adapted for mobile robotics supports wide voltage input; thereby significantly improving battery energy efficiency and system stability.

"Noble Machines' leadership in fully integrated AI-Driven Whole-Body Control and autonomy is uncontested," said Ethan Chen, General Manager of ADLINK's Edge Computing Platforms Business Unit. "Through this joint development agreement, ADLINK is bringing high-performance computing hardware to the rapidly growing general-purpose robot market. Transitioning from our current DLAP platform support to a jointly developed custom platform featuring the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform, we are committed to delivering long-term and scalable computing architecture for the most challenging applications and accelerating Noble Machines' entry into high-value heavy industry markets."

"Our alliance with ADLINK is more than a technical collaboration; it is a shared commitment to our industrial vision," said Wei Ding, CEO of Under Control Robotics Inc. "ADLINK's leadership in edge computing and industrial-grade design capabilities perfectly complement Noble Machines' fully integrated AI-Driven Whole-Body Control and autonomy. This partnership enables us to deliver truly robust, durable and highly intelligent robotic solutions to our heavy industry customers, turning the automation of dangerous tasks into reality."

This alliance addresses critical challenges in hardware durability and supply chain integration in extreme environments. Seamlessly combining Noble Machines' innovative solutions with ADLINK's Edge AI platforms, this partnership is giving strong momentum to heavy industry automation. By jointly targeting construction, mining and energy sectors, the companies will accelerate the vision of autonomous and intelligent operations in high-difficulty scenarios.
