Santa Farma Appoints New Medical Director
Dr. Ömür Tanyel has been appointed Medical Director of Santa Farma İlaç, one of Turkey's most established and strongest domestic pharmaceutical companies, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.
Tanyel worked as a physician in various provinces of Turkey from 1994 to 2008. Between 2008 and 2024, he served at Abdi İbrahim İlaç in the positions of Medical Director, Senior Medical Director, and Group Medical Director.
Dr. Tanyel completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and obtained his specialist degree from the Neurosurgery Department at S.B. Ankara Training and Research Hospital. Between 2014 and 2023, he completed undergraduate programs in History, Brand Management, and Human Resources Management at Anadolu University.

The production facility located in GEBKIM OSB has a closed area of 44,000 m2 and an annual production capacity of 150 million boxes.
