SOCAR Energy School’s Fifth Term Applications Have Begun

Applications for the fifth term of SOCAR Energy School, launched through the cooperation of SOCAR Türkiye and Sabancı University Executive Development Unit, EDU, have begun. Applications for the certificate program, which will once again be offered free of charge in its fifth term, will continue until 10 October 2026. 

SOCAR Energy School, launched by SOCAR Türkiye—Türkiye’s largest direct foreign investor and largest integrated industrial group—in cooperation with Sabancı University Executive Development Unit, EDU, is preparing for its fifth term. In the new term of the certificate program, first held in 2022, Azerbaijan and Türkiye’s strategic position in the field of energy along with the sector’s prominent topics will be addressed.

In the program, which will also bring to the agenda new rising trends in the world of energy, particularly renewable energy, the contributions of energy cooperation between the two countries to energy security, green transformation and regional integration will also be evaluated. The program will bring together public and private sector executives, professionals working in the energy field, academics, and national and international decision-makers who wish to examine current developments and the strategic dimensions of the energy sector more closely and develop their expertise in this field.

With this program, which it has launched with the understanding of contributing to the development of competent human resources in the field of energy, SOCAR Türkiye aims to add value to individuals’ career journeys and to transform the knowledge and experience gained into a shared gain for the future of the energy transition.

Comprehensive training program from expert names

The fifth term of SOCAR Energy School will offer a comprehensive training content that addresses the energy sector from different dimensions. The curriculum, prepared with the contributions of leading experts in the field of energy, will consist of 28 core courses and 3 elective courses, as well as 3 assessment sessions and 4 special sessions. Within the scope of the program, 14 panels will also be held, addressing current energy policies and featuring internationally renowned speakers.

The fifth term is also free of charge

65 participants will be accepted this year into the program, which will once again be offered free of charge in its new term. The fact that the program has been offered free of charge since its first term stands out as a concrete reflection of the approach to making access to education and development opportunities more inclusive. With this support it provides to education, SOCAR Türkiye continues to bring individual development together with social benefit.

Applications for the program can be made until 10 October 2026 at www.socarenergyschool.com or www.socarenergyschool.com/en. Following the evaluation of applications and the determination of participants, the training sessions will begin on 28 November 2026 and end on 17 April 2027.
