Engin Dirik Appointed Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications at Sanovel

A new appointment has taken place in Sanovel’s management staff. Engin Dirik, who has more than 25 years of experience in human resources management, began serving as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications at Sanovel as of September 2026.

Having worked throughout his career at national and multinational companies operating in various sectors, primarily the pharmaceutical industry, Dirik gained expertise in areas such as strategic human resources management, organizational development, talent and leadership management, performance management, compensation and benefits, change management, employer branding and HR analytics.

Engin Dirik completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Business Administration at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, and began his career at Tansaş in 2000. He subsequently took on consultancy roles at Humanitas, Garanti Bankası and Nissan Automotive.

Between 2005 and 2013, Dirik served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Sanofi. During this period, he took on responsibilities in areas such as recruitment, organizational structuring and development, performance and talent management, leadership development and HR systems.

Dirik worked as Talent Management Manager at HSBC between 2013 and 2014, and between 2014 and 2022 he worked at Abdi İbrahim respectively as Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director.

Most recently, Engin Dirik had been serving as Human Resources Director at Ali Raif İlaç since 2022. In his new role at Sanovel, Dirik will lead the strategic management of the human resources and corporate communications functions.
