Kimpur Receives Silver Medal from Ecovadis

Kimpur has been awarded the Silver Medal by Ecovadis, one of the world's leading sustainability rating platforms, for its sustainability initiatives and environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.

Ecovadis, which assesses the sustainability performance of over 130,000 companies across more than 220 sector groups in over 180 countries based on various criteria such as environment, ethics, human rights and sustainable supply chain management, has completed Kimpur's sustainability evaluation process.

Kimpur ranked in the top 13 percent of its industry and earned the 'Silver Ecovadis' medal.

Kimpur continues to make a difference in its sector through the use of renewable and recycled resources, energy efficiency projects and initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint in line with sustainable growth targets. The Silver Medal awarded by Ecovadis is a source of great pride as an indicator of these efforts.

Defining its actions in line with short, medium and long-term sustainability targets and the 2030 Climate Change Roadmap, Kimpur aims to reduce energy carbon emissions by 33 percent by 2030. While taking action to minimize environmental impacts through energy efficiency projects and the use of renewable energy sources, Kimpur managed to maintain its unit carbon footprint at a constant level despite a 28 percent increase in production following the commissioning of its Düzce facility in 2023.

Kimpur aims to increase the use of recycled and bio-based raw materials in its products and to use 25 percent bio or recycled content in all product groups by 2030. Additionally, Kimpur is in the process of completing life cycle analyses of its products and has focused its scientific work on the basis of these analyses in future years.

Working with the commitment to increase its contributions to the environment and society, Kimpur continues its efforts without slowing down to leave a more livable world for future generations.
