Dr. Ümit Aktaş Provides Meaningful Support to Female Students

Dr. Ümit Aktaş and the Drug-Free Life platform he founded announced that they will award scholarships to 20 female students who ranked in the top 20,000 in the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Examination and chose state universities. Applications will be submitted online and will continue until 30 September.

Dr. Ümit Aktaş, who reaches a wide audience through his books, television appearances and writings, launched a scholarship program to contribute to the education of female students.

Through his scholarship project, Dr. Ümit Aktaş will provide 20 successful female students who ranked in the top 20,000 in the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) and chose state universities with an educational scholarship of TRY 5,000 per month for 12 months.

Dr. Ümit Aktaş, stating 'As the Drug-Free Life family, we consider supporting our successful female students who pursue education through their own means and efforts in our country, and who aim for successful careers, as a way to repay our debt to our homeland', said: "To ensure equal opportunity in education, we prioritize female students who are academically successful but have insufficient financial means, and we practice affirmative action."

Female students who ranked in the top 20,000 in the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) and chose state universities can apply for the scholarship program. The scholarship, which will last for 12 months, will not cover students at private universities. All application details are available at www.ilacsizyasam.com, and candidates will only need to complete the application form located at www.ilacsizyasam.com/pages/burs-basvurulari to be considered for evaluation. Applications submitted via telephone or social media messages will not be considered.

Applications will continue until 30 September 2024.
