Ares Logistics invests in office in Paris

Ares Logistics accelerated its investments in France during 2024. Engin Kırcı, Founding Partner of the company, drew attention to the opening of a new office in Paris, noting that the company will continue its investments in France, an important foreign trade partner for Turkey.

According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, France was one of the countries with which Turkey achieved the highest foreign trade volume last year at approximately USD 22 billion. Trade volume between the two countries reached USD 13.3 billion in the January-July period of this year.

Ares Logistics, ranked among Turkey's largest logistics companies by fleet size, is further strengthening its position in Europe through its France investments. As part of its global growth strategy, Ares Logistics, which has undertaken strategic restructuring in Spain and Romania, is maintaining this momentum with the new office investment it has realized in France.  

Engin Kırcı, Founding Partner of Ares Logistics, stated that they have opened a new office in Paris to expand their operations in France. Kırcı, expressing that they aim to reach more customers with this office, said, "In addition to our warehouse currently located in Paris, we will strengthen our vehicle structure in this country. We plan to put into service our own vehicles with France license plates. In this way, we will be able to provide more efficient solutions to our exporters and importers."

"Our presence in France is very important to us"

Kırcı, reminding that France is a very important trade partner for Turkey, said, "France has been one of the countries with which Turkey conducts the most trade for many years. We attach great importance to our presence in this country because it is an important hub for both our transit transportation and intra-European transportation."

Reaching Sète via Ro-Ro

Kırcı, noting that they primarily conduct transportation via Ro-Ro on the Turkey-France route, said, "The first destination of our Ro-Ro shipments is the port of Sète in France. From there, we reach Spain, Portugal and other European countries as well as Morocco. With our different types of equipment, we can safely transport cargo from many sectors. In our equipment pool, we have options such as Tarpaulin Trailers (crainable), Closed Box Trailers, Reefer Trailers (Temperature-Controlled Trailers) and Swap Bodies."

Kırcı added that this year, alongside France, they will expand their structures in different European countries and increase their investments.
