Butterfly Dissolver for Ultra-High-Viscosity Products

  DSV-B Series Butterfly Dissolvers are used especially in the preparation of ultra-high viscosity, thixotropic, non-flowing, paste-type products. All standard equipment on the machine is designed to handle the most difficult mixing and dispersion conditions encountered with high-viscosity products. With various models capable of operating in the 500 LT- 1500 LT net product volume range, they can be used with appropriate wheeled tanks. The standard machine consists of two main mixing units (the machine can also be manufactured as an option with only a single butterfly mixer). The heavy-duty "Butterfly" impeller rotating at the center of the tank has edge scrapers and enables effective mixing of the high-viscosity product. The "Disperser" disk next to the tank center performs powder feeding, solid dispersion and high-speed fragmentation during product preparation. Both mixers have infinitely variable speed control via frequency converter. It is a completely closed system, and vacuum can be applied as needed during the process to prevent product contact with air. In the vacuum models offered as options, the "Automatic Vacuum Control System" is provided as a standard feature. The vacuum value measured electronically from inside the tank can be set to minimum and maximum values thanks to the PLC control system, and when the changing vacuum reaches these values, the vacuum pump automatically starts and stops. Thanks to the vacuum set this way and maintained at a certain level, the necessity for the machine operator to manually intervene in the vacuum pump is eliminated. Additionally, since the vacuum pump will not be running continuously during the process, energy consumption is reduced. All machine parts in contact with the product are manufactured from high-surface-quality stainless steel. The standard product preparation tank supplied with each machine is made of complete stainless steel, double-walled and water-cooled. Complete turning work is performed on the inside to make it suitable for press discharge. The upper body lifting and lowering and the tank lid suitable for vacuum are controlled via an electro-hydraulic system. During the process, while the tank lid is closed, the Butterfly impeller and Disperser disk can rise up to the maximum level of the tank. This feature provides very effective mixing and edge scraping. Tank securing is provided by a keyed pin and locking hinge system to work safely with high-viscosity products. This system both ensures safe securing of the tank during the process and enables the tank to automatically return to the shaft center with each approach to the machine. The machine is fully PLC-controlled and operated through a control panel mounted on the body, featuring functional buttons and a TFT-LCD touchscreen. Observed and adjustable process parameters include the status of machine motors, total operation and process times (process time is adjustable), product temperature control, vacuum control, and so forth. Product- and customer-specific control systems such as optional recipe entry can be integrated. Each DSV-B Series machine is delivered with "Complete Electrical Safety Equipment" installed as standard to provide maximum safe operating capability during production.
