Peristaltic pumps, also known as hose pumps, are a type of positive displacement pump. Masterflex® peristaltic pumps can easily pump a wide variety of liquids. With their unique design, Masterflex® peristaltic pumps form a critical and reliable component of processes ranging from chemical transfer and pharmaceutical operations to wastewater treatment. It is a drive system that compresses and releases a flexible hose by rotating the rollers it contains. This compression process creates a vacuum that draws liquid through the hose. The flexible hose used is the only surface in contact with the transfer liquid.
