Rising production and input costs across virtually every sector, along with intensifying competition, are driving engineering and R&D work to the sidelines. Since its establishment, Nükleon has continuously pursued R&D activities across all areas and sectors. At the same time, it reaps the benefits of its investments in every product it develops. Following numerous products introduced to the sector, it is now offering the Climatic Test Chamber (Climate Control Cabinet)—developed with proprietary software—to the industry. Through specially designed equipment configured according to internal capacity requirements, the company has implemented a technology that provides tailored solutions for both large and compact spaces with ergonomic designs. The newly developed Climatic Test Chamber represents the most efficient and ergonomic method to ensure that your products can withstand various temperatures during manufacturing, transport, storage and use—across spring, summer, autumn, winter, seasonal variations and different climate zones. The digital panel, featuring an adjustable safety thermostat, fault diagnosis system and touch buttons, provides ease of use. Humidity and temperature are controlled via a PID control system, with humidity levels measured against a psychrometric diagram using a humidity generator and wet and dry bulb thermometers. The refrigerant, gas and insulation are environmentally friendly and CFC-free. Developed to simulate real climate conditions by controlling temperature, humidity and day/night light cycles, this climate control cabinet allows stability, artificial aging, storage and shelf-life tests to be performed with ease. It enables monitoring of sample behavior under desired environmental conditions at constant temperatures, with programmable duration and lighting schedules. Temperature changes are reported via an audible alarm system and LED display. Sufficiently powerful lamps located inside the door are protected by heat and moisture-resistant glass to provide natural light to samples. The internal glass door allows observation of samples without affecting humidity and temperature values inside the chamber. Humidity is provided by a humidity generator and measured by a humidity sensor inside the chamber. Temperature control, humidification and cooling are managed through a proportional-integral-derivative control system. Insulation of the Climatic Test Chamber is provided by injected high-density polyurethane.

Intended Use and Application Areas

The cabinet can be used in quality control laboratories where stability, aging, conditioned storage, shelf-life and research and development tests are conducted for products manufactured in industrial sectors such as electronics and telecommunications, military equipment, automotive and automotive suppliers, aerospace, chemicals, plastics, textiles, pharmaceuticals, food and packaging. It can also be used in research laboratories in the mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, civil engineering, food engineering and chemical engineering departments of universities. Many different sectors can use it, including acclimating plants to new climate conditions, plant, tissue, protoplasm and cell culture production, genetic research, seed germination and insect breeding.

Features Optimized for Environmental Friendliness

A PLC control system that continuously maintains optimal climate conditions and a 4.3" color touch screen mounted on the door provide ergonomic operation. The ramp function programmable by duration for heating and cooling enables precision work. The products used contain highly environmentally friendly materials, reflecting consideration for the environment from yesterday to today and from today into tomorrow. To ensure maximum durability and reliability in the Climatic Test Chamber, the most appropriate materials have been selected for both internal and external construction. The chamber is manufactured from stainless steel, while the external housing is made from epoxy-painted galvanized steel resistant to high humidity.
