Kappa Kimya A.Ş., founded in 1994, operates as both representative and distributor in the ink, plastic, paint, cellulose, paper and paper processing industries. The company serves as Turkey representative for nearly 80 firms and also handles domestic distribution of imported materials from its warehouse in Istanbul Ikitelli. Kappa Kimya aims to serve its customers with a 'Quality First Philosophy' and grows each year by expanding its product range through this approach. Within the ink, plastic and paint raw materials department, the company works with a young and dynamic sales team to supply new technologies and raw materials in line with customer needs. Beyond developing the market size in organic and inorganic powder pigments, the company also aims to expand in the resins and auxiliary chemicals sectors. Since 2013, Kappa Kimya has tested quality measurements of the pigments it brings to market in its own in-house laboratory, separately from the firms it represents. In this way, the company aims to provide customers with much greater assistance in proper product selection. In 2017, the firm began focusing on imports of titanium dioxide and resins alongside pigments and dyes. Under this scope, it began importing Rutile-type Titanium Dioxides specially formulated for water and solvent-based paint, ink and plastic applications, as well as Melamine Resins for oven-cure and water and solvent-based paint producers. Among Kappa Kimya's product groups are titanium dioxide, organic powder pigments, fully coated and uncoated chrome yellows, fully coated molybdate oranges, pearlescent pigments, ultramarine blue, melamine resins, sim glitter and microfiber, and C12 film-forming agent. Additionally, the company also represents ABB Cellier, one of the world's largest manufacturers in its field. ABB Cellier works on procurement, storage, transfer, dosing, dispersion, reaction, mixing (batch and in-line), filtration of raw materials for paint, coating and resin production, system piping, process automation and process control.
