İlke Endüstriyel Boyama Sistemleri ve Otomasyon A.Ş. has been operating in the field of paint shop facilities for over 26 years. Over the course of our activities, we have accumulated considerable knowledge throughout the years and organized this information within our corporate memory. In recent years, our company's approach to prospective customers has been to use this refined knowledge to present the option best suited to customer expectations. Because the sector as a whole consists of customer-specific contract work, companies planning to invest often do not know what they will acquire, make late or incorrect decisions, and are unable to provide space, infrastructure and energy sources for their facilities. As İlke Endüstriyel A.Ş., our approach, particularly in recent years, has been to reduce energy, initial investment and operating costs for companies planning to invest, adopt environmentally conscious approaches aligned with the latest global paint shop trends and technology. If we were to mention a few of the innovative projects we have undertaken in recent years:

İlke Endüstriyel A.Ş. Horizontal Paint Booth Project

With this project, sheet metal parts manufactured by our company and consisting mostly of flat surfaces are loaded horizontally onto a roller conveyor, washed, coated with nanoscale ceramic, excess water is removed from the surface with an air knife, drying is carried out in a gas infrared system oven, robotic automatic painting system, and gas infrared curing processes all take place automatically. The innovative aspect of this project is the horizontal application of powder coating to flat and wide sheet metal surfaces, the use of a lane mark in-tank tube system for tank heating, and the horizontal use of gas-type infrared heaters in curing and drying ovens. In all traditionally designed paint shop layouts, the first thing that comes to mind is hanging these parts perpendicular to the conveyor. In this completed automatic line, flat-surfaced parts were successfully coated and cured horizontally with powder coating and passed a 350-400 hour salt spray test successfully.

Ümit Bisiklet Turbo Disc System Liquid Paint Automatic Application Facility

This project is a facility operating at approximately 2.5 m/min speed. The facility processes include: nanoscale ceramic surface preparation, drying oven, primer paint automatic application booth, primer flash-off, topcoat automatic application booth, topcoat flash-off, powder varnish application booth, curing oven. The facility was successfully commissioned. Because the company directed its initial investment toward turbo disc painting by our recommendation, it achieved 50% paint and filter savings, and also standardized surface quality.

Toyota Plastics Division Bumper Coating Booth

At the Toyota plant, the manual paint application booth that no longer met the company's requirements was redesigned from scratch. The new booth designed is highly efficient and has a capacity to contain 100 kg/m³ overspray (waste paint that does not adhere to the part). Filter fill rates are read with high precision differential pressure sensors. This information is processed in the PLC unit and based on these data, decisions are made on how the system will operate according to filter fill rates. An environmentally conscious paint application booth was commissioned through energy and consumable savings. To summarize the company's gains, following this investment, the company's monthly maintenance downtime decreased, energy consumption of the circulation pump in the water curtain booth dropped to zero, chemical consumption used in the water curtain booth was eliminated, the solvent-VOC odor problem dispersed throughout the factory was eliminated, a brighter and more spacious painting environment was created, and thanks to the adjustable suspension fixing fixture designed by our company for parts of different shapes, the most ergonomic painting position was provided for the operator.
