Passive Air Monitoring Solutions

Passive air sampling (settling-sedimentation) using open petri dishes is a useful complement to active air sampling methods. Standard 90 mm petri dishes allow for semi-quantitative determination of the microbiological load in the air. These petri dishes are also suitable for personnel hygiene monitoring (e.g. gloves). The use of standard petri dishes is easy and effective. They allow continuous monitoring during production processes. Because they are quite small, they can be easily used in confined spaces. Merck's passive air sampling solutions are perfectly adapted to the requirements of different applications. Our three-packaged and gamma-irradiated ICR 90 mm Settle Petri dishes are designed for use in critical cleanrooms and isolators. For less critical cleanrooms and other controlled environments, we offer single-packaged LI Settle Petri dishes.
