Healing and Art Come Together in the Same Painting

The first workshop of "Art Tapping Therapy for Healing," which presents the Healing Art technique developed by Merve Tüfekçi Emre, received significant interest. The proceeds from the artwork created through the touches of the artist and participants will be donated to TOG Foundation.

The event held recently at Artopol, titled "Healing Art with Healing Hands" or originally "Art Tapping Therapy for Healing," drew considerable attention. Healing artist and personal development specialist Merve Tüfekçi Emre, who developed the technique, combines art with healing and reflects it in her paintings. The talented artist, who conducted her first workshop, explained the intricacies of the technique she developed. The event, which began with healing and purification therapy, then transformed into a collective art performance involving participants. The final version of the painting, created with colorful paints and finger touches through which all participants' imagination was reflected, captivated viewers.

Explaining the details of the "Art Tapping Therapy for Healing" method she developed, Merve Tüfekçi Emre stated, "After completing my Design and Management education at Parsons School of Design University in 2010, I received extensive training in personal development and healing in the United States and England for many years. Over the years, I developed the 'Art Tapping Therapy for Healing' technique by blending the techniques and design methods I learned with healing methods. I have been applying this technique in my paintings since 2012. The 'TAPPING' method, known as a healing method, is a technique known as emotional freedom. By combining this method with painting, we identify emotional pain blocked in our own bodies, purify ourselves, and through the emotional transformation method, reflect the power of colors on canvas, healing ourselves while creating art simultaneously. The frequency of colors and their healing properties are known facts. Using this healing power, we created a world painting as one 'HAND' together with the participants."

Merve Tüfekçi Emre stated that all proceeds from the sale of the healing painting will be donated to TOG Foundation.

The artist's exhibition titled "Healing Art with Healing Hands" will open on 23 November at Artopol Gallery located at 42 Maslak. During the month-long exhibition, paintings created by the artist with healing hands will be presented to art lovers.
