Notre-Dame de Paris Takes the Stage in May
The musical Notre-Dame de Paris first premiered in Paris in 1998. Adapted from Victor Hugo's classic love story "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame," the modern production features music composed by Riccardo Cocciante and lyrics written by Luc Plamondon.
The love story that began at Palais des Congrès Paris continues to be performed with tremendous excitement and captivates audiences as it did on opening night.
The songs "Vivre," "Belle" and "Le Temps Des Cathédrales" from Notre-Dame de Paris, which was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the musical reaching the most viewers in its opening year, occupied music charts for many years.
With over 10 million DVDs and CDs sold and more than 12 million tickets sold, staged in 20 countries in seven languages over 4,500 times and receiving numerous awards, no superlative would be excessive in describing the success of Notre-Dame de Paris.
The musical, which was staged at Zorlu PSM in its English version in 2014 and in its original French language in 2017 and 2018, is back on tour! Do not miss the story of Esmeralda, Quasimodo, Gringoire, Frollo, Fleur de Lys, Phoebus and Clopin.
