GALDER Webinar Series to Discuss "Corrosion Awareness"

GALDER Webinar series' 4th event seeks to answer the question "Are we aware of corrosion?" The Panel will be held with the participation of Ümit Yasin Güven, Head of Metal Industry Department at the Directorate General of Industry, Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey; Serpil Çimen, Director of TÇÜD (Turkish Steel Producers Association); Yener Gür'eş, Chairman of TUCSA (Turkish Structural Steel Association); and Bünyamin Halaç, Board Member of GALDER (General Galvanizers Association). Our Panel addresses "Corrosion Awareness." Corrosion Awareness Panel is meeting participants with the main sponsorship of IZA (International Zinc Association)'s Webinar Series; and panel sponsorships from ANI Metal, Koruma Klor Alkali and Marmara Siegener Galvaniz companies. The environmental, economic and structural impacts of metal corrosion; methods for preventing and controlling corrosion; notable applications from Turkey and around the world; raising corrosion awareness and actions that can be taken in fighting corrosion will be discussed on this panel. The Corrosion Awareness Panel, which draws attention with its content addressing the entire steel industry and steel users and its distinguished panelists, will take place on Tuesday, 1 June 2021 from 13:30 - 15:30 via Zoom (online).
