BYK to Hold Major Digital Event on 21 April

BYK is preparing for a major digital event. As one of the leading specialty chemical suppliers, BYK will focus on the future of additives and coatings on 21 April 2021 through various online formats. Among others, the program will feature interesting discussions and presentations by BYK senior management. Participants will include CEO Dr. Tammo Boinowitz, CTO Dr. Jörg Hinnerwisch, Head of Coating Additives Business Unit Dr. Stefan Mössmer and numerous application specialists from the End Use and Regulatory divisions.

Three topic areas will receive special attention during the half-day event. The event starts with "BYK's contribution to more environmentally friendly coatings" followed by "Roadmap through the regulatory environment". The event will conclude with information on "Global technology trends for coatings and inks".

The focus will be on three new biocide-free wetting and dispersing additives: the DISPERBYK-BF series. DISPERBYK-190 BF is a VOC and solvent-free additive for aqueous printing inks, coatings and adhesives. DISPERBYK-199 BF is likewise VOC and solvent-free and is highly suitable for aqueous coatings, adhesives, pigment concentrates and maintenance products for stabilizing organic and inorganic pigments. DISPERBYK-2015 BF also has a very broad application profile (aqueous coatings for binder-free pigment concentrates, printing inks, adhesives, maintenance products).
