BOSAD Panels and Paint Schools to Be Held Online on 28-30 September

Overview of Technology, Research and Development and Innovation on 28 September A panel titled "Overview of Technology, Research and Development and Innovation: Europe, USA and East Asia" will be held on Monday, 28 September 2020 between 15:30-17:30. Three leading experts, Dr. Victoria Scarborough, Dr. Andrea Mogni and George Pilcher will address the paints and coatings industries in Europe, the USA and East Asia in terms of technological competitiveness, research and development strategies and innovation capacity. Participation in the panel is free, but registration is required. Following the panel, there will be a half-hour question and answer session where the speakers will respond to questions from the audience. BOSAD Sector Information Panel on 30 September

The Paints and Coatings Manufacturers Association (BOSAD) will hold a meeting on Wednesday, 30 September 2020 between 10:00-12:00 to provide information on sector-related issues. At the meeting, BOSAD Board Chairman M. Akın Akçalı will first inform participants about the current status of Turkey's paints and coatings industry and make assessments regarding expectations in the paints and coatings industry in the coming period. Following M. Akın Akçalı, BOSAD Board Vice Chairman Rami Atikoğlu will discuss topics that stood out at the World Federation of Painters meeting held in Brazil in March of this year and will give a presentation particularly addressing sustainability discussions and decisions made and their implications for Turkey's paints and coatings industry. Rami Atikoğlu will also share his views on the current state of the paints and coatings industry in Turkey regarding sustainability and how it should develop in the future. Paints and Coatings Schools on 29-30 September

BOSAD will hold the paints and coatings schools event, which was planned to take place in person in March but could not be held due to Covid-19, online on 29-30 September this year. The topics and contents of the schools will be the same as those in March. Presentations and talks will be in Turkish with one exception, and talks will be interpreted simultaneously into English. The presentation to be conducted in English will likewise be interpreted simultaneously into Turkish. Participation in the schools is free, but registration is required.
