Akcoat raises awareness on World Environment Day

Akcoat, which prioritizes social responsibility projects, raised awareness through events organized on World Environment Day, 5 June. Akcoat participated in the field this year with the motto "Touch It, Change the Future" within the scope of World Environment Day on 5 June and organized two significant events. At the event held at Selman Dede Recreation Area and Zoo, under the protection of Hendek Municipality, with the participation of Akcoat Environment Volunteers and Hendek Municipality Mayor İrfan Püsküllü, attention was drawn to the responsibility of protecting the unique beauty offered by nature and passing it on to future generations. The other event took place in the conference hall at Akcoat R&D Center. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asude Ateş, Faculty Member at Sakarya University Department of Environmental Engineering, gave a seminar to employees in the conference hall. Dr. Ateş shared important information on environmental awareness and sustainability.

"Protecting the Environment is in Our Nature"

At the event held at Selman Dede Recreation Area and Zoo, participants gathered at the meeting point and were briefed about the event program. With the distribution of necessary equipment at the start of the event, each participant was provided with biodegradable gloves and waste bags to keep the environment clean. Akcoat Environment Volunteers cleaned the environment by collecting waste found in the recreation area, carefully separating recyclable materials from the waste and sending them to recycling bins. Throughout the event, environmental awareness was highlighted with slogans such as "Clean Environment, Happy Life", "Protecting the Environment is in Our Nature", and "Touch It, Change the Future".
