Abdi İbrahim Foundation's İyilik Evi Project Wins Two Awards from Altın Pusula

The İyilik Evi (House of Goodness) project, launched by the Abdi İbrahim Foundation to support children undergoing cancer treatment and their families, was deemed worthy of two awards at the 24th Altın Pusula Türkiye Public Relations Awards organized by the Turkish Public Relations Association (TÜHİD). İyilik Evi won the Altın Pusula Award in the "Corporate Social Responsibility Health" category with its 360-degree integrated communication efforts, while also receiving the "Alâeddin Asna Special Award for Consistency and Continuity in Corporate Social Responsibility." The awards were presented at a ceremony held in İstanbul on October 20, 2026.

İyilik Evi, launched by the Abdi İbrahim Foundation, offers free accommodation to children and their families who come to İstanbul from different cities across Türkiye for cancer treatment and need accommodation support due to economic circumstances. The 18-room facility, which can accommodate 45 people at the same time, allows children to stay together with their families.

In addition to accommodation support, İyilik Evi also offers education, workshop, and psychosocial support programs, aiming to support children during their treatment process without being separated from their families and the natural flow of daily life. The project also contributes to strengthening families socially and emotionally during this difficult process.

Special Award for Continuity in Social Responsibility

The "Alâeddin Asna Special Award for Consistency and Continuity in Corporate Social Responsibility," which is not open to direct applications and is given by a special selection committee, is based on criteria of social benefit, sincerity, consistency, and long-term sustainability. With this award, İyilik Evi was recognized not only for the support it provides but also for its approach centered on long-term social benefit.

"Our Greatest Reward Is the Smile on a Child's Face"

Dr. M. Oğuzcan Bülbül, Chairman of the Board of the Abdi İbrahim Foundation and Group President of Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Sustainability at Abdi İbrahim, drew attention to the importance of the project for children and their families in his assessment of the awards received by İyilik Evi.

Bülbül made the following statements:

"As the Abdi İbrahim Foundation, we established İyilik Evi so that families who come to İstanbul from different cities across Anatolia for their children's cancer treatment do not feel alone on this difficult journey. We wanted them to have a warm home that opens its doors to them away from their own homes. We wanted children not to be cut off from daily life and play while undergoing treatment, and for mothers and fathers to be able to access the psychological support they need. We are grateful if we have been able to ease the burden on their shoulders even a little. Because for us, the greatest reward is the smile on a child's face, their being able to leave our home having regained their health, and a family being able to say, 'We're so glad we were here.'"

Hope for Children, Solidarity for Families

Launched with the philosophy "If One Child Heals, the World Changes!", İyilik Evi has hosted approximately 250 children and their families, totaling more than 500 people, free of charge since its opening. To date, more than 3,000 hours of education, workshop, and psychosocial support activities have been carried out to support children's development and strengthen families.

These efforts aim to support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children, while helping families gain new skills and become socially stronger.
