Kimpur Achieves B-s1,d0 Fire Performance in Turkey with System 1

Kimpur, a company operating in polyurethane systems, has achieved a significant success with the implementation of System 1 verification procedures for fire reaction classifications in the sandwich panel sector in Turkey.

Bringing this approach, which has been applied in Europe for a long time, to life with its Turkish customer, Kimpur successfully verified the B-s1,d0 fire performance class.

European experience transferred to Turkey
Kimpur transferred its experience gained by providing solutions compliant with System 1 procedures for sandwich panel manufacturers in Europe to Turkey. The company's FM-certified KIMrigid PIR 205 system with B-s1,d0 fire class was successfully tested and verified in Turkey as well.

The System 1 approach, which has been used in many projects in Europe, encompasses sample selection, production monitoring and test procedures controlled by independent bodies. This method provides higher traceability and reliable verification in product performance.

Success through cooperation with Davut Panel
Within the scope of its work with customer Davut Panel, Kimpur achieved B-s1,d0 fire reaction performance in facade panels ranging from 40 mm to 200 mm using the KIMrigid PIR 205 system within the framework of the System 1 verification procedure.

This success was achieved without using any additional auxiliary fire components. This demonstrated that the system maintains high fire performance under actual production and application conditions.
