Consumption of Mineral-Rich Water During Ramadan Preserves the Body's Balance

The all-day thirst experienced during Ramadan directly affects the body's fluid balance. Experts recommend consuming at least 1.5 liters of water between iftar and sahur, while emphasizing the importance of the water's source, the preservation of its mineral composition, and the reliability of production processes.

Prolonged thirst throughout the day during Ramadan directly affects the body's fluid balance. Experts recommend consuming at least 1.5 litres of water between iftar and suhur, while emphasizing the importance of paying attention to the water source, preservation of mineral composition, and reliability of production processes.

Choosing healthy and reliable water that meets the body's water balance and mineral needs in terms of its mineral content is also of great importance. Brands that fill from natural sources and operate with integrated production infrastructure are preferred at this point, while Badem Pınarı, with all its values proven through reliable tests and its water sourced from natural springs combined with its production model, is positioned as part of a conscious consumption approach during Ramadan.

AT LEAST 1.5 LITRES OF WATER SHOULD BE CONSUMED BETWEEN IFTAR AND SUHUR
The changing dietary pattern during Ramadan and prolonged thirst throughout the day directly affect the body's fluid balance. Experts recommend consuming at least 1.5 litres of water between iftar and suhur. However, here it is not only the quantity that matters, but also spreading consumption over time. Rather than consuming large amounts of water quickly at iftar, water intake distributed evenly throughout the evening helps the body use the fluid more efficiently. Insufficient fluid intake can lead to conditions affecting daily life such as headaches, fatigue and reduced concentration. For this reason, planned and conscious water consumption throughout Ramadan stands out as a complementary element of balanced nutrition.

NATURAL SOURCE AND MINERAL BALANCE IN FOCUS
During Ramadan, consumers are not only focusing on drinking more water, but also on choosing the right water. Experts recommend selecting water sourced from natural springs, with a balanced mineral composition, and whose production processes are regularly monitored. Minerals found in natural spring waters are considered a natural part of daily nutrition. For this reason, the clarity of the water's source, preservation of its mineral composition, and the reliable conduct of filling processes are important to consumers.

WATER CONSUMPTION DURING RAMADAN SHOWS TWOFOLD INCREASE
Kaan Badem, Member of the Board of Directors of Badem Pınarı Water Management, commenting on Ramadan developments, stated: "The inability to consume fluids throughout the day during Ramadan makes the time period between iftar and suhur more critical. Consuming at least 1.5 litres of water as experts recommend is important; however, this needs to be spread evenly throughout the evening rather than consumed in a short period. We observe that consumers during this period are paying more attention not only to drinking more water, but also to the source and production processes of the water they consume. For 16 years we have operated with the understanding of 'Good Water for Everyone'. Water consumption doubles during Ramadan. As household consumption increases, supply continuity also becomes important. We view this period not only as an increase in demand, but also as a process of maintaining trust. We plan our production before Ramadan, continue our filling processes in a way that preserves the mineral composition of the water obtained from our natural source, and structure our distribution organization according to the increasing consumption pace. Our aim is to ensure that consumers have access to regular and reliable supply at their iftar and suhur tables. Ramadan is also a period when conscious consumption habits become more visible. As part of this conscious approach, we focus on maintaining our quality standards and operational continuity," he said.
