Sinangil and Gönül Mutfağı Hold Pide-Making Workshop for Women in Hatay

Sinangil brings the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan to Hatay through a meaningful collaboration with Gönül Mutfağı. At a traditional Ramadan flatbread workshop held in İskenderun, women receiving culinary training at Gönül Mutfağı receive hands-on instruction, with the aim of supporting women's participation in production as well as contributing to their social and economic strengthening. Within the scope of the project, flatbreads produced by the women are also delivered to the iftar tables of families affected by the earthquake.
 
Sinangil, one of Turkey's established and pioneering flour brands, continues its quality, safety and social benefit-focused approach during Ramadan. Operating with a sustainable production philosophy and a strong brand heritage, Sinangil has undertaken a meaningful corporate social responsibility project in Hatay. Through a collaboration with Gönül Mutfağı Aşevi under the coordination of Chef Ebru Baybara Demir, a traditional Ramadan flatbread workshop organized specially for women in İskenderun contributes to preserving cultural heritage while adding value to the professional expertise of women receiving culinary training. Sinangil provides comprehensive flour support to Gönül Mutfağı within the scope of the project, contributing to the uninterrupted continuation of both workshop activities and production operations for iftar tables.

At the workshop held in İskenderun, participating women have the opportunity to learn hands-on the techniques of preparing traditional Ramadan flatbread. In the training process conducted with Sinangil's products meeting high quality standards, the value of producing and sharing together comes to the fore. The warm flatbreads prepared by the women's handiwork at the workshop are carefully packaged and delivered to the tables of families affected by the earthquake. The project reflects Ramadan's unifying force in the field, presenting a concrete example of solidarity.

In this regard, with this workshop that we have implemented through our collaboration with Gönül Mutfağı in Hatay, we aim both to preserve Ramadan flatbread, which is our cultural heritage, and to support the knowledge and skills of women continuing their culinary training in the kitchen. We will continue to support such projects that foster Ramadan's spirit of sharing and unity in a sustainable manner." 

The special project implemented in the İskenderun district of Hatay, where the spirit of solidarity has been strongly felt following the earthquake, supports women in the region to acquire professions and encourages their participation in production, in addition to delivering warm flatbreads to iftar tables.
