KANSAI HELIOS Acquires German Powder Coating and Resin Manufacturer CWS Lackfabrik GmbH KANSAI HELIOS has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in CWS Lackfabrik GmbH ("CWS"). Together with its group companies, CWS is an established manufacturer of powder coatings and liquid and solid synthetic resins with a tradition spanning more than 150 years, headquartered in Düren, Germany. Following satisfaction of closing conditions, KANSAI HELIOS will become the new owner of CWS's group companies in Germany, the United States, Denmark and Poland. This consolidation represents a long-term opportunity for KANSAI HELIOS to strengthen its market position in the coatings industry, particularly in powder coatings and synthetic resins.
