GSK Turkey Appoints New Oncology Business Unit Director

GSK Turkey Appoints Director of Oncology Business Unit GSK Turkey has appointed Dağhan Güçlü, an experienced industry figure, as Director of the Oncology Business Unit. Güçlü will also serve as a member of GSK Turkey's Leadership Team.

Who is Dağhan Güçlü?

Dağhan Güçlü graduated from Boğaziçi University's Department of Economics in 2003, followed by completion of an Executive MBA programme at Koç University. After completing strategic marketing training at INSEAD, Güçlü began his career at Petrol Ofisi. Güçlü continued his career in sales at 3M before joining Roche Turkey in 2006 as Promotion Manager, where he led product management and product launch processes across multiple therapeutic areas for 11 years. Joining Merck Group in 2017, Güçlü worked successively as Oncology Marketing Manager, Director of Strategy, Operations and Business Excellence, and Director of the Oncology Business Unit. Prior to joining GSK Turkey, Güçlü was Central Nervous System Business Unit Leader at Janssen Turkey, responsible for managing sales and marketing teams. GSK Turkey, which is preparing to focus on innovative treatment solutions in the oncology field alongside respiratory/immunology, infectious diseases and HIV in the coming period, has further strengthened its oncology business unit and leadership team with this significant appointment.
