From TİM to China: Medical Aid

The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) provided medical assistance to China in its struggle against the effects of the coronavirus. Approximately 200,000 protective masks and numerous medical supplies including protective goggles, disinfectant and gloves reached China. The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) extended a helping hand to China, which is going through a difficult period due to the coronavirus. Numerous protective masks and medical aid supplies were delivered to China. In his assessment on the matter, TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle emphasized that measures need to be implemented quickly to prevent the coronavirus from becoming a global threat. Gülle stated: "Recently, the entire world has been focused on the effects of the coronavirus that emerged in Wuhan, China. The shortcomings in the process of controlling the virus have brought difficult periods for China. As the Turkish Exporters Assembly, we have also extended our hand of friendship to China, which is fighting the coronavirus outbreak on the other side of the world, demonstrating the generosity of the Turkish people. On behalf of our Export Family, we provided China with protective masks and medical supplies. We delivered approximately 200,000 protective masks and numerous medical supplies containing protective goggles, disinfectant and gloves to China. It is of great importance that this situation be managed as quickly and effectively as possible and that measures be implemented to prevent it from becoming a global threat," he said.
