The conference brought together expert academics from leading universities in the field from Zurich, Netherlands, Turkey and Italy, and participants explained how food research that will shape the future across all processes from farm to table is influenced by consumer trends. In addition to scientific explanations of gut-brain interaction described as the second brain, the effects of nutrition on quality of life and health, the application of alternative technologies in food production processes to foods, and the fact that food packaging is shaped according to consumer needs and carries many functions beyond packaging function, it was emphasized that packaging is an integral part of the food production process. Arzu Aslan Kesimer: "We Will Manage the Future"

Tat Gıda Chief Executive Officer Arzu Aslan Kesimer, who said that designing the future is very important because we have been managing change for years, stated: "Just as we drive a car without thinking, we also manage change without thinking. Managing change is now routine; what is now a priority is managing the future. To manage the future, we saw it necessary to establish a Scientific Board consisting of very valuable scientists. It is high time to start thinking about how Generation Z, which wants everything 'now' and 'immediately,' will be fed in the future and in what packaging they will want snacks," she said. Kesimer continued: "As Tat Gıda, which houses three established brands under its roof and works to provide healthy, delicious and reliable products to hundreds of thousands of kitchens it enters every day, we are a company that questions itself at every opportunity to understand how we can do our work better at every step and make our consumers happier. To avoid being crushed under change, we need to manage it. This happens by understanding the world, keeping up with the times and changing. We established our Seed R&D Center precisely for this purpose. This center was designed as a center that will contribute to the development of the sector."
