SANLAB Connected Hundreds of Students with Technology SANLAB has been running its "R&D for the Future" project since 2013 to increase the interest of primary and secondary school children in science and technology and to guide them toward R&D and software. Turkey's simulator and robotics technology company SANLAB contributes to science festivals, science events and science fairs within this project. Most recently, SANLAB participated in the Konya Science Festival organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality and introduced hundreds of students to simulation technology. Throughout Turkey, Provincial/District Directorates of National Education, Science and Art Education Centers (BİLSEMs), municipalities, district governorates, universities and civil society organizations come together to support "Science Festival" events with SANLAB technologies. This year, SANLAB first met with students and teachers at the Konya Science Festival. At the festival, students and teachers were given the opportunity to experience simulation and robotics technologies. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Atay also visited the booth set up by SANLAB. At these stands, students became familiar with Virtual Reality Welding Simulator, Forklift Simulator, Low Current Welding Simulator and Abilix Krypton Series Educational Robots technologies.

"It Shows Our Complete Confidence in Our Country's Future"

SANLAB Founder Partner Salih Kükrek described the work carried out within the scope of the project. Kükrek said, "As Turkey's only 100 percent domestically-owned simulation and robotics brand, SANLAB has been carrying out the 'R&D for the Future' project since 2013 to instill a love of science in young generations. This project is an indicator of our complete confidence in our children, in other words our country's future. Through our project, we contribute to many science festivals, science events and science fairs. Most recently, we are delighted to introduce our students to the simulation and robotics technologies we have developed at the Konya Science Festival, which was organized for the eighth time this year. We believe it is very important for our children to experience these kinds of technologies at an early age. Especially in the field of science and technology, we try to instill in our children the feeling of 'I can do it too.' We also strive for teachers to say 'my students can do it too.' We are pleased to be a stakeholder of the Konya Science Center, which runs the festival, and of the Konya Science Festival, which is Turkey's largest."

Will Continue Connecting Children with Technology

SANLAB will also participate in the Karabük Science Festival, Ordu Ünye Science Festival, Istanbul Gaziosmanpaşa Science Festival and Kahramanmaraş Science Bridge events to be held in October. During the 2021-2022 academic year, SANLAB will continue to bring technology and children together at Science Festival events that will be organized by Provincial and District Directorates of National Education, mostly with TÜBİTAK support, in Pendik, Adalar and Tuzla districts of Istanbul, in Trabzon city center and Sürmene district, in Ağrı, Aksaray, Giresun and Fatsa district of Ordu.
