ASPİLSAN Enerji Draws Attention with R&D Projects

KAYSERI (AA) – ASPİLSAN Enerji ranked 36th among companies implementing the most R&D projects in Turkey in 2020. ASPİLSAN Enerji, operating for over 40 years, provides energy solutions for defence industry requirements. The company has significantly expanded its product range in recent years through innovative solutions targeting different sectors. In a written statement, ASPİLSAN Enerji General Manager Ferhat Özsoy expressed the company's views, noting that they closely follow innovative solutions and advanced technologies in the sector. Özsoy stated that they conduct R&D activities in many areas to find innovative solutions and bring them to Turkey, saying: "We are working on both international R&D collaborations and production capabilities to ensure that the latest technologies in the energy sector are used in our country at the same time as the world." Noting that they work in four separate R&D centres in Kayseri, Ankara, Istanbul and Edirne, Özsoy said: "In 2020, we ranked as the 36th company conducting the most projects according to R&D project numbers in our country, while in 2020 we were the 182nd largest company in R&D spending. Domestic and national resources combined with the work of Turkish engineers will contribute significantly to the development of our defence industry and strengthen our country's industry, while also reducing our dependence on foreign sources.
