Hitit Appoints New CEO to General Management

Nevra Onursal Karaağaç has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hitit, Turkey's leading aerospace technology company. Nevra Onursal Karaağaç, who has worked within the company for 18 years and has served as Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Marketing on the management team since 2018, will assume this role, which has been led by company founder Nur Gökman since the company's establishment in 1994. Starting from 1 September 2024, Karaağaç and her team will manage Hitit, which facilitates a sales volume of USD 6.5 billion through a technological network whose technologies and software are used by more than 70 airlines across 49 countries on 6 continents worldwide and at over 700 airports, and which operates integrated with more than 65 banking and payment systems. Hitit (HTTB), one of the world's leading software companies in airline and travel technologies, carried out a series of senior-level appointments to strengthen its management as it enters its 30th year of operation. Nur Gökman, founder and shareholder who has served as both Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will transfer the Chief Executive Officer position to Nevra Onursal Karaağaç, Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Marketing, as of 1 September 2024. In a disclosure made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated: "Nur Gökman, recognized in the sector in which the Company operates, will continue to exercise his knowledge and experience as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. We thank Mr. Gökman as the Hitit family for his contributions to our company. Within the framework of principle 4.5.4 annexed to the Capital Markets Board Corporate Governance Communiqué; it has been decided that as of 1 September 2024, Atilla Lise will be appointed to replace Nevra Onursal Karaağaç in the membership of the Company's Early Risk Detection Committee."
