GSK Launches Employment Initiative for Individuals with Autism GSK Turkey is preparing to launch a pioneering and meaningful project for the employment of individuals with autism under the slogan "Working Together with Individuals with Autism" as part of a collaboration with the Tohum Autism Foundation. The project aims to support professional careers for individuals with autism, with GSK providing employment opportunities in various positions at its headquarters. In line with its strategies in corporate social responsibility and ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance), GSK Turkey has partnered with numerous stakeholders on valuable projects. In collaboration with Tohum Autism Foundation, GSK Turkey is now launching a new employment initiative called "Working Together with Individuals with Autism" to integrate individuals with autism into the workforce. Starting from inclusivity, one of the key focal points of GSK's corporate culture, the project focuses on integrating individuals with autism into the workplace. Recruitment will target full-time positions at GSK Turkey's headquarters in departments such as human resources and finance. As part of the program, a job coach will be assigned within the company to support individuals with autism in their adaptation to the business world and social environment as well as their orientation process. Through this program, GSK aims to demonstrate that individuals with autism can work in a headquarters environment when provided with appropriate conditions, proper guidance and training. Burcu Kuyucu, Human Resources Director at GSK Turkey, emphasized the importance of individuals with autism playing a more active role in the business world within diversity and inclusion policies: "As GSK Turkey, just as with every project we have implemented within our HR, CSR and ESG efforts, we place diversity and inclusivity at the forefront in the project we will launch in collaboration with Tohum Autism Foundation. Through our project, which we will implement thanks to the valuable contributions of the foundation, we aim to demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunity in the business world and to be a pioneer in this regard. We believe that our project, which we are undertaking under the motto 'Working Together with Individuals with Autism' and which will enable individuals with autism to be integrated into society in Turkey, will contribute to raising awareness on this issue. We consider this project, which aims to integrate individuals with autism into work and social life, to be highly important. The primary objective of the project is to demonstrate that individuals with autism can work in an office environment where white-collar employees are present, provided that appropriate conditions are created and necessary training is completed, with the support of job coaches.
