Sustainability Step from TET Global Logistics TET Global Logistics, one of the leading companies in the logistics sector, earned the "Green Logistics Certificate" through its environmentally friendly practices and sustainability activities, becoming one of the few companies in Turkey to hold this certificate. TET Global Logistics, which provides bulk chemical transportation services and intermodal transportation services to institutions, has been serving as the Turkey agent of Bulkhaul Limited since 2013, offering logistics capabilities between all points worldwide in container transportation. With its extensive fleet of over 300 owned vehicles, it carries out logistics operations at all points in Turkey and Europe. Cemil Can Yalçın, Executive Board Member of TET Global Logistics, stated that they provide quality, safe and environmentally friendly services with experienced staff and continued as follows: "We are one of the leading companies in the sector that provides bulk chemical transportation both on land and sea, as well as washing and storage services. We safely transport raw materials that form the components of many materials we use in daily life, such as personal care, cleaning, pharmaceuticals, organic, paints, food, agriculture and construction products, on an international scale. We are aware of our responsibility to our customers in safe transportation. However, our responsibility to the environment is also an important factor that determines how we conduct business." Yalçın stated that TET Global Logistics takes justified pride in earning the Green Logistics Certificate as a result of their environmental sensitivity at every step of their operations, and said the following regarding the certificate: "Logistics activities, as one of the most important links in the supply chain, play a significant role in meeting society's needs. However, we are aware that with the rapidly growing world population, environmental impact is increasing. As TET Global Logistics, in our operations, ensuring that our customers' products in vital areas such as pharmaceuticals and food are safely delivered and through environmentally friendly methods is our top priority. In this context, we carry out activities that reduce water footprint and carbon footprint through energy, environment and greenhouse gas management system applications. We organize green logistics training for our employees to ensure they share the same responsibility as us. The environmentally friendly green logistics service we provide as TET Global Logistics also contributes to our customers' green transition goals. We conduct these activities with a sense of responsibility towards the environment and society. However, with our efforts, being among the few logistics companies holding the Green Logistics Certificate is a matter of pride for us." In order to qualify for the Green Logistics Certificate, the criteria established by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure must be met and implemented. Within the scope of green logistics activities, companies are expected to carry out at least 200 combined freight transportation trips per year, possess documents and certificates showing that at least 5 percent of energy consumption is met by electricity produced from renewable energy sources, and use air conditioning systems containing gases with 'Low Global Warming Potential' values. Additionally, the company is required to possess ISO 14001 certificates, which are a set of standards aimed at reducing natural resource usage and minimizing harm to soil, water and air, and ISO 14064 standards, which are standards for the determination and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and mitigation amounts, among the required conditions. TET Global Logistics earned the Green Logistics Certificate through water footprint, energy, environment and greenhouse gas management system applications and green logistics training activities for employees.
