GEBKİM Foundation Eligible to Apply for European Union Projects

GEBKİM Vakfı's boundless goals and vision in education have brought GEBKİM Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi to Europe. The Erasmus Accreditation application, which provides numerous opportunities such as ease of application to European Union projects, development of joint projects with educational institutions in the EU, travel of GEBKİM MTAL teachers and students to Europe for education, arrival of educators and students from the EU to Turkey, and internships for students at EU companies, has been accepted and GEBKİM MTAL has achieved Erasmus accreditation. With Erasmus Accreditation in the field of vocational education, the Erasmus+ Vocational Education Student and Staff Mobility program offers institutions and organizations the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus Program on a long-term basis and to receive regular grant support for activities within this scope. Under the coordination of GEBKİM Education, Research and Health Foundation and within the consortium of GEBKİM MTAL-Koruma Chlor Alkali Industry and Trade Inc., an application was made for Erasmus Accreditation, an important tool for institutions and organizations wishing to engage in cross-border exchange and cooperation in the field of vocational education. Following a lengthy preparation phase, good news came after the application was submitted. GEBKİM Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi, under GEBKİM Vakfı coordination, has achieved Erasmus accreditation. With this success, it has earned recognition among the Presidential Defense Industries Presidency, Chambers of Industry, Provincial Directorate of National Education offices, Turkish Aerospace and Space Industries, the Directorate General of Vocational and Technical Education, and major companies. Erasmus Accreditation, as one of the most prestigious applications in the European Union's education sector, provides significant advantages to accredited institutions. GEBKİM Vakfı and GEBKİM MTAL have crossed a very important threshold in increasing integration and cooperation with the European Union. Erasmus Accreditation facilitates project applications by educational institutions, enables higher education institutions to come together and cooperate, allows institutions and organizations in the field of education to submit project applications in Europe under the European Solidarity Program, and creates networks for obtaining grants in project applications. Thus, schools in Europe are taking steps to implement joint grant projects and cooperate with schools and higher education institutions that hold accreditation certificates. GEBKİM MTAL's Erasmus Accreditation will accelerate European Union projects, and with EU financial support, it will be possible to implement numerous projects in education, social and cultural fields in the coming period. With the accreditation, priority is given to providing students in the chemistry field at GEBKİM MTAL with innovative and internationally-standardized education opportunities, while increasing participation in international projects and providing more opportunities for its students and teachers are among the main objectives. GEBKİM MTAL, which has already met EU standards with the opportunities it provides to its students through GEBKİM Vakfı's support, its projects for vocational education and individual development, laboratories, Application and Pilot Production Facility, continues its project titled Virtual Reality Job Interview Training for Classroom in partnership with Germany and Italy under Erasmus+ KA201. GEBKİM Education, Research and Health Foundation Management Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı stated that they were very happy and proud of GEBKİM Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi's accreditation to Erasmus under GEBKİM Vakfı coordination. Aracı noted that the exemplary educational vision of GEBKİM MTAL, extending beyond Turkey's borders to reach the EU, is a source of pride for our country, and said: "At the end of a long-term work process that we have conducted with EU targets, the successful completion of our Erasmus Accreditation application and the accreditation of GEBKİM MTAL, which is the apple of our eye as GEBKİM industrialists, will provide extremely important gains.
