EİB Export-Up Launches Second Term EİB Export-Up, Turkey's first export-focused mentoring programme for young and female entrepreneurs by the Aegean Exporters Associations, is launching its second term with the support of TurkishWIN, Business World and Sustainable Development Association (SKD Türkiye) and Endeavor Türkiye. Applications for the EİB Export-Up Mentoring Programme will close on 21 October. Aegean Exporters Associations Coordinator Chairman Jak Eskinazi recalled that EİB was the first Exporters Association in Turkey to design a mentoring programme, continuing his remarks as follows: "In the first term of the EİB Export-Up Mentoring Programme, we encountered strong interest and received very positive feedback. Our young and female entrepreneurs achieved exports for the first time thanks to EİB Export-Up, signed commercial connections with numerous countries, improved their business processes, and expanded their networks. At a time when the gap in gender inequality in business is widening day by day, EİB Export-Up is a major achievement for Turkey. Our primary mission as EİB is to support sustainable development. We can only reach this goal by increasing the number of women and young entrepreneurs. With our motto 'The exporters of the future believe in the power of experience,' we are launching the second term of our EİB Export-Up Mentoring Programme with enhanced content," he said. Stating that they have set "Sustainable and Green Growth" as the main theme of the programme, Eskinazi said, "As a pioneer in sustainability among Exporters Associations in Turkey, we possess substantial knowledge and experience to share with our entrepreneurs. This time, with our young and female entrepreneurs, we will examine 'sustainability'—the world's new development agenda that has changed the trend of recent times and our commercial relationships through the EU Green Deal process. As EİB, we are expanding our entrepreneurship circle with new stakeholders. On this journey we embarked on with TurkishWin, in our second term we are adding SKD Türkiye and Endeavor Türkiye to take more comprehensive and stronger steps. Ten young (under 40 years of age) and female exporters from our various sectors who are new to exports or wish to increase their capacity will receive mentoring services from our experienced mentor exporters who are Board Members and from expert names in the fields where beneficiaries need professional development. At the same time, beneficiaries will participate in training on topics such as government support, global marketing, e-export, and sustainability," he said.

EİB Export-Up About the Second Term

The second term programme lasting 6 months will include 10 beneficiaries to be determined through interviews following applications made via www.export-up.org. The theme of this programme has been set as Sustainable and Green Growth, and young and female exporters operating in this direction will be eligible to participate in the programme.
