The colors of the world meet in Istanbul: paintistanbul&Turkcoat Fair kicks off

The ninth edition of paintistanbul&Turkcoat fair is welcoming industry representatives once again at Istanbul Fuar Merkezi between 8-10 May. The paintistanbul&Turkcoat Fair, organized under the motto "Discover the Magic of Colours," has opened. The ninth edition of the fair, organized through the collaboration of Artkim Fuarcılık and BOSAD, is bringing together 372 companies in total, of which 256 are foreign, from 29 countries. The participants also represent over 600 brands. Speaking at the opening of paintistanbul&Turkcoat Fair, BOSAD Board Member Hakan Ünel said, "paintistanbul&Turkcoat, our ninth paints, paint raw materials, construction chemicals and adhesive raw materials, laboratory and production equipment fair is opening its doors today in your presence with great enthusiasm. I sincerely believe that our fair will make valuable contributions to all stakeholders of the Turkish paint industry," and continued as follows: "As many people know, our journey that started years ago in a hotel ballroom with 700-700 square meters has risen today to become one of the most important events in its field in the world, maintaining the same enthusiasm and expanding to a net area of 12,000 square meters. Of course, our goal is to organize the most comprehensive and important international fair in the region by reaching a minimum of 10,000 visitors and 13-14 thousand square meters of fair area. In this context, we aim to make Turkey and the Eurasian region a paint production and technology center through complementary fair and congress cycles, increase paint awareness, and contribute to the development of our sector." Artkim Group CEO Cengiz Yaman, in his opening remarks, said: "As Artkim, since 2007 in collaboration with BOSAD, we have been organizing the paintistanbul&Turkcoat Fair every two years; we continue to lead the sector, integrate Turkish paint industry with the world, and support exports. As of 2023, paintistanbul&Turkcoat, which we have been conducting with an alternating fair and congress concept, serves as a bridge in the development of the paint industry and the advancement of all areas of the sector. Our goal is to position our fair and congress among the world's leading organizations in international format and standards." High demand for the fair Cengiz Yaman, saying about paintistanbul&Turkcoat Fair that "We can confidently say that the world's colours meet in Istanbul," continued: "Thanks to paintistanbul&Turkcoat Fair, our industry representatives who are participants have the opportunity to display their products in a net area of 12,000 square meters, 25,000 square meters gross. Due to the high demand for our fair, all our booth areas sold out in a short time. Therefore, we were unable to accommodate more than 50 domestic and foreign companies." Cengiz Yaman also emphasized that they expect the fair to be visited this year by more than 9,000 industry professionals from 60 countries, of which 25% are foreign. Connecting sectors with the world Artkim Group CEO Cengiz Yaman noted that Artkim organizes 13 specialized fairs in 13 sectors, primarily the chemical industry and its subsectors, and works to bring sectors exporting over 32 billion dollars in total together with the world.
