Major Partnership in the Snack Food Sector

Pegasus Tech Ventures continues to lead innovation in the food technology sector by investing in pioneering startups. Most recently, Pegasus established a partnership with Japanese snacking giant Calbee, aiming to connect Calbee with startups developing new products and technologies on a global scale. This strategic move seeks to strengthen Calbee's presence in global markets while positioning the company as a leader in developing sustainable food solutions.
Pegasus Tech Ventures, a global venture capital firm headquartered in Silicon Valley, announced a partnership with Calbee, Inc., a Japan-based snacking giant operating in Asia, North America and Europe. Through this partnership, Pegasus will introduce Calbee to startups developing innovative products and technologies breaking ground in the United States, Europe, Israel and Asia. By collaborating with these companies, Calbee aims to develop new healthy snacks, novel production techniques, new business models and other innovations that will contribute to the growth and success of both the startups and Calbee. Masae Nakano, Assistant General Manager and Chief Technology Officer of Research and Development at Calbee, stated: "The Calbee Group is strong in the snacks and grain products business in Japan, but we aim to expand further into new food areas of the future.
