Supply Chain Professionals to Receive Their Awards for the 7th Time

Supply Chain Professionals Receive Awards for Seventh Consecutive Year Slimstock and Lojistik Derneği (LODER) will organize the seventh edition of the "Turkey's Most Effective Supply Chain Professionals" list this year. The list will be announced online on 24 November 2021. The award ceremony took place online for the first time last year. Songül Sezer, General Manager of Slimstock Türkiye, stated that the online award ceremony achieved very high participation. Sezer said: "We would have preferred to hold our award ceremony in person as we do every year, but we could not risk anyone's health during the pandemic. For this reason, we will hold our award ceremony for the second time on the same online platform with the same enthusiasm, bringing together supply chain professionals. When we saw the high participation in our event, which we organized online for the first time last year, we were truly delighted. Because we held it on an online platform, Turkish supply chain professionals operating globally also had the opportunity to participate in the list. Similarly, we continue to receive applications from around the world this year. We are excited about bringing the SCP Awards to an international level. Our applications are still ongoing. By continuing this practice every year, we will continue to emphasize the importance of the supply chain," Sezer stated.

Number of Applications Increases Every Year

Sezer noted that there are few platforms where companies can share their supply chain projects and said: "Companies that apply are excited to publicize these projects through the SCP Awards in the media across Turkey and even the world. The list of Turkey's Most Effective Supply Chain Professionals is eagerly anticipated every year. We see this reflected in the increasing number of applications each year. The growing enthusiasm is an indication that we are on the right track in this regard in Turkey." Sezer stated that over 100 companies have already applied for the list. Sezer also explained the prerequisites required to be included on this list. "Having at least 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics and production, implementing applied projects in logistics and supply chain, and holding a managerial position in the supply chain field of your company are among the requirements," Sezer said, listing the conditions needed for the list. Providing information about the changes and registration forms for the award ceremony, which is being held for the seventh time this year, Sezer said: "Our candidates, competing in 4 different categories—Most Sustainable/Resilient, Most Technological, Most Innovative and Most Effective—will share their projects with our jury members in advance on the online platform this year. Winning projects will make their presentations to participants on 24 November. We have sent online invitations via email to our members registered with the SCP Club. However, professionals who are not members and wish to attend the event can follow our company's social media accounts and the SCP Club website, and if they fill out the application forms, they can attend our event through the link we will provide," Sezer said.
