Artkim Group celebrated its 25th founding anniversary with a special evening held at Beykoz Kundura, while also announcing the calendar of the 12 specialized trade fairs it will organize in 2027. Artkim Group Founder and Chairman of the Board Ahmet Güler shared the company's 25-year journey and future targets, while Artkim Fairs Sales Director Tevfik Denemeç drew attention to the economic importance of the chemical industry and the role of specialized trade fairs in trade and new collaborations. At the event, TOBB Chemical Industry Assembly President Timur Erk, PLASFED Chairman of the Board Ömer Karadeniz, KÜAD Chairman of the Board Fuat Arslan, TİYSAT Vice Chairman of the Board Mehmet Pehlivan, TÜYİDER Secretary General T. Ali Selen, and IMBEO & Composites Lounge CEO İlkay Özkısaoğlu also shared their assessments regarding the developments in the chemical, plastics, cosmetics, adhesive, surface treatment and composite sectors in terms of technology, production, sustainability, exports and international collaborations.

"No other country in the world holds this many chemical-themed trade fairs"

Speaking after Güler, Artkim Fairs Sales Director Tevfik Denemeç emphasized the importance of the sector by saying, "Chemistry is the silent hero of our economy. The Türkiye chemical sector closed 2025 with 31.9 billion dollars in exports, becoming our country's second-largest exporting sector, and is steadily progressing toward its 2026 target of 35 billion dollars. Behind this growth are new markets, new contacts, new collaborations. In other words, exactly what trade fairs do. Because, in our view, a trade fair is a place that launches a year's worth of trade within three days," and provided information about the 2027 fairs.

Putech Eurasia, Adhesives & Bonding Eurasia, Eurasian Composites Show, Surtech Eurasia, PaintExpo Eurasia and Turkcoat Istanbul will bring together sector professionals at the İstanbul Expo Center on November 24–26, 2027. Artkim's portfolio of 12 fairs also includes Turkchem Eurasia and InterDye & Textile Printing Eurasia, to be held on November 25–27, 2026.

In his speech, TOBB Chemical Industry Assembly President Timur Erk, drawing attention to the strategic importance of the chemical sector in the production economy, said: "The chemical industry lies at the foundation of many production areas with the raw materials and intermediate inputs it provides.
