Alexion appoints senior executive from AstraZeneca Türkiye

Emre Aktolga appointed Commercial Director at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey

Emre Aktolga completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at Uludağ University and his master's degree in Management and Organization at Marmara University. Starting his 19-year career at Roche Turkey, Aktolga continued working in marketing at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company's Oncology Division before beginning his career at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey in the sales department in 2012. At Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey, Aktolga successfully held the positions of Regional Sales Manager, Turkey Sales Manager, Sales Director, and Neurology Business Unit Director.

With experience in eight different therapeutic areas and in original and biotechnology products, Emre Aktolga has been appointed to the position of Commercial Director at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey, a global biotechnology company that has been a leader in the rare disease field for 30 years, overseeing the management of the Neurology and Hematology & Nephrology Business Units. In his new role, Aktolga will lead the development and implementation of innovative commercial strategies with a collaboration-focused approach among the company's commercial business units, leveraging his extensive experience in team leadership and performance management.
