Gözde Terkan Appointed New CEO of Biofarma İlaç
A senior appointment has taken place at Biofarma İlaç, one of the leading manufacturers in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry with a history spanning more than 80 years. Gözde Terkan, a pharmacist who has served as the company's Sales, Marketing and Medical Director for nearly two years and has been acting as CEO since January 2026, has been appointed CEO of Biofarma İlaç.
Biofarma İlaç, a leading Turkish pharmaceutical manufacturer with a heritage spanning over 80 years, has announced a senior appointment. Pharm. Gözde Terkan, who has served as Sales, Marketing and Medical Director for approximately two years and has been acting as CEO since January 2026, has been appointed as CEO of Biofarma İlaç.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Gözde Terkan will lead Biofarma İlaç's sustainable growth strategies, corporate transformation initiatives and innovative product development efforts in her new role.
A graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy, Terkan completed her master's degree in Business Administration at the same university. Beginning her professional career in 2005 as Medical Information Manager, Terkan has held various positions including Core Units Manager, Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Division Manager and Business Unit Director, gaining significant experience in sales, marketing and strategic management.
Joining Biofarma İlaç in 2024 as Sales, Marketing and Medical Director, Gözde Terkan served as acting CEO from January 2026 onwards. In her new role, Terkan aims to lead Biofarma İlaç's growth vision and advance the company's strong market position in the industry.
