Çimsa Posts Sales Revenue of TRY 25.4 Billion in First Half of 2026

Çimsa, one of the Sabancı Group companies, announced its financial results for the first half of 2026. Despite the contraction in cement consumption in Turkey, the company maintained its strong operational performance and increased its consolidated sales volume, particularly with the contribution of its grey cement grinding facility in the US. Çimsa, which brought its net sales revenue to TRY 25.4 billion in the first six months, achieved EBITDA of TRY 4.2 billion through effective cost management, while increasing its net profit by 47% year-on-year to TRY 2.3 billion.

Çimsa, a Sabancı Group company, has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026. Despite the contraction in cement consumption in Turkey, the company maintained strong operational performance and increased consolidated sales volume, particularly through the contribution of its gray cement grinding facility in the United States. In the first six months, Çimsa achieved net sales revenues of TRY 25.4 billion, generated EBITDA of TRY 4.2 billion through effective cost management, and increased net profit by 47 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, bringing it to TRY 2.3 billion.

Increased Alternative Fuel Usage Supported Operational Efficiency
Çimsa's alternative fuel investments implemented in various facilities in recent years have continued to make significant contributions to operational efficiency and cost management.

At the Mannok facility, which the company added to its portfolio in the fourth quarter of 2024, the alternative fuel usage rate increased from 61 percent in the first half of the previous year to 79 percent in the first six months of 2026. At Çimsa facilities in Turkey, the alternative fuel usage rate rose from 16 percent to 24 percent during the same period.

"We Will See the Financial Contribution of the CAC Investment More Clearly in the Coming Period"
Evaluating the financial results, Çimsa Board Chairman Umut Zenar stated that the company is continuing its global-scale growth strategy with determination and made the following assessment:

"Our proactive cost management, global sales network, and value-added product portfolio are among the most important factors that differentiate us positively in the sector. Beyond this, one of Çimsa's strongest characteristics is our ability to implement tomorrow's strategic investments today while successfully managing today's operations.

The calcium aluminate cement (CAC) investment that we brought online in recent weeks at our Mersin facility is one of the most concrete examples of this. With this investment, we increased our CAC production capacity by 50 percent, reaching approximately 200,000 tons. In this way, we have achieved the capacity to meet approximately 20 percent of total CAC consumption in the global market excluding China on our own.

Approximately 90 percent of our CAC production in Mersin is exported to world markets. We will see the contribution this investment will make to our financial results and foreign exchange revenues more distinctly in the coming periods. Çimsa will continue to maintain strong financial performance in the coming period through its growth strategy across different geographies and value-added product-focused approach."
