Turkchem March-April 2016 Issue Released!

In Turkchem Magazine, which keeps its finger on the pulse of the chemical sector, we have prepared yet another packed issue for you. When you want to take a short break during work, I recommend reading technical articles, product introductions, interviews and news from the sector. Under the heading "Sectoral Report," I wanted to briefly include the data we have published in my Editor's page this issue. According to data announced by the Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB); the chemical sector achieved USD 1 billion 149 million in exports in February. The sector, which recorded a 36 percent increase in terms of volume, reached 1 million 651 thousand tons of exports. Maintaining its third position after the automotive, ready-made clothing and apparel sectors, chemistry generated USD 2 billion 154 million in exports over two months. I would like to note our hope that the chemical sector will always be remembered for its successful projects. We all need to hear good news as a sector. In our March-April issue, I believe you will enjoy reading two fine interviews we conducted. We had a pleasant conversation with Aromsa Founder Murat Yasa. Murat Yasa explained the philosophy that brought Aromsa to success. LABSİAD, which unites laboratory product manufacturers under its roof, aims to be a solution to the sector's problems.
