CoatMaster enables non-contact measurement of coating thickness immediately after application. This allows for low costs, optimized quality and process balance.
CoatMaster incorporates innovative technology for non-contact measurement of coating thickness on workpieces made from different materials such as metal, aluminium, plastic or MDF. Based on thermal optics, this technology makes it possible to measure powder and liquid layer thickness even before curing or drying.
This permits precise adjustment at the micrometre level and registration of coated parts.
• By avoiding unnecessary over-coating, material savings of up to 30% are achieved, which brings significant cost savings and environmental protection.
• At the same time, workpieces are always coated to sufficient thickness thanks to CoatMaster quality control, thus preventing waste and system downtime.
• Continuous measurement provides close daily records during the coating process. Data can be used locally or transferred to a database.
