Sisdoz Launches GRACO Husky Air-Operated Diaphragm Pumps

Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps (AODP) are today widely used for the transfer, circulation and non-critical dosing applications of a broad range of fluids, from the most difficult and abrasive, including pure acids, treatment and ceramic slurries, chemical solutions, oils, fuels, solvents, alcohol derivatives, food and pharmaceutical raw materials, as well as in spray gun feeding applications for paint application. Air operated diaphragm pumps, which are positive displacement pumps, are increasingly preferred due to their simple and reliable construction, ease of use and maintenance, and low investment and operating costs.

General Characteristics

Graco Husky Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps have an average dry suction capacity of 5.5 m, 9 m with liquid, and a maximum liquid outlet pressure of 8.4 bar. Pump models have a wide product range between ¼"– 19 l/min and 3"– 1130 l/min depending on inlet-outlet and capacity specifications. Material alternatives in contact with the fluid are: 316 stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, polypropylene and acetal for the housing; teflon, viton, santopren, hitrel, NBR and geolast for internal components.
