Remoll Two-Component Plasters
The Remoll brand, a result of construction application experience and advanced R&D work since 1987, serves the building sector. Remoll produces customer-focused solutions adapted to changing conditions and evolving methods.
With product and service quality meeting European standards, it brings innovative solutions to the construction sector where competition is increasing. To ensure the highest service quality and meet changing needs, it maintains continuous communication with users and applicators.
To provide customer satisfaction, it offers permanent and rational solutions throughout the process from the project stage to the construction site and end user.
Behind product quality lies advanced R&D laboratory work and expert team effort to achieve this success. In production, it utilizes the latest technological innovations, leaving no room for error. With the strength provided by its completely unique aggregate, it creates a difference in quality and workability.
Remoll ready-mix mortars are products developed as a result of years of R&D work aimed at eliminating the drawbacks experienced in both gypsum plaster and cement-based plasters.
Because gypsum plaster does not provide sufficient strength, it increases building maintenance costs in structures with high traffic such as schools and hospitals.
Due to being affected by water and moisture, problems such as swelling, crumbling, mold and fungus occur. In applications such as wallpaper and paint, because gypsum plaster does not provide a sufficiently solid surface, it must be reinforced with primer materials.
Due to gypsum's acidic properties, it causes corrosion and must not come into contact with metal profiles or reinforcement. Apart from all these, gypsum plaster cannot be applied to exterior facades, and for this reason cement-based products are used.
In conventional cement-based plasters, a sufficiently fine and smooth surface cannot be achieved, and rapid water loss in hot weather causes burning, resulting in strength loss. Remoll ready-mix mortars, on the other hand, achieve a smooth surface with cement-based material. Like other cement-based materials, no later watering is required, and burning and cracking do not occur. Sanding is not necessary to achieve a smooth surface. Because it is pumice-based, at an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, it can be worked, corrected and repaired without leaving marks for up to 4 hours when diluted with a brush. Because it is produced with porous material, it supports thermal and acoustic insulation. With steel trowel, sponge, broom and roller, surfaces can be obtained in the desired appearance. While the weight in other aggregates averages 1600–1800 kg/m³, the pumice (lightweight aggregate) mixture has a raw material weight of 900 kg/m³, placing less load on the structure. On average, in plaster applications 2 cm thick, it carries 15 kg load per m². This means a reduction of 300 tons in building loads in a construction project with 20,000 m² of plaster area.Remoll Two-Component Plasters
Remoll Yapı Kimyasalları developed an "unconventional" next-generation two-component single-coat plaster that provides the most suitable square-meter cost and highest applicator performance. Construction site tests conducted with meticulous care over months showed that the new REMOLL two-component ready-mix plaster provides unconventional advantages to both project owners and applicators. According to the construction site test results conducted, REMOLL building plasters are signaling that it will open a new era in the market. This new product offers multiple advantages to users in combination. Thanks to its new concentrated and two-component formula, our products supplied in 80-liter bags cover the same area as 120-kilogram machine plasters, thus allowing 35% more REMOLL products to be transported when loaded with the same weight as standard machine plaster. In addition to application with a plaster machine, mortar can also be prepared with a standard plaster mixer and mixer. In places without machine capability, it can also be applied by hand. According to construction site tests conducted, workers can apply at least 50% more in the same time period compared to standard machine plasters, so while workers cover more area in less time, they become less fatigued and thereby increase their daily work capacity and earnings. The smooth surface it provides and its positive effect on worker performance also allows the work to be completed in less time. Due to covering 35% more area when the same amount is used, it also means fewer bags need to be transported at construction sites. Moreover, it facilitates machine cleaning and provides our workers with longer working hours. Due to its ability to conceal surface defects, it provides a smoother surface and subsequently facilitates the satin application to follow. With its new two-component ready-mix plaster that covers more area than standard machine plasters, is easier to transport, and provides labor, transportation and easy application advantages, Remoll brings a new understanding to machine plasters that expands their boundaries to date. Because it is pumice-based, it contributes to thermal insulation in spaces and allows the rough + fine plaster application to be completed together in a single pass on all surfaces such as brick, aerated concrete, pumice block, briquette, raw concrete, etc.Pınar Kocaman Şimşek / Senior Architect / Remoll Yapı Kimyasalları
