Hika is a manufacturing company whose core expertise lies in the production of solid and liquid sodium silicate (solid and liquid glass). Hika was established in 1998 as Hika Maden ve Kimya Sanayi Ltd. Şti., based in Izmir-Bornova, one of Turkey's most important industrial and port cities. The company conducts its production activities in a facility spanning 4,000 m² of enclosed and 8,500 m² of open space, located in the Manisa / Turgutlu Organized Industrial Zone on the Izmir-Istanbul highway. With 30 employees, Hika operates on a 24/7 basis in three shifts. Hika continues to expand its customer portfolio by increasing its growth momentum and market share through production capacity, quality service understanding and successful organizational structure. Having become a respected and trusted manufacturer in the mining and chemical sectors, Hika advances with confidence toward the future, drawing on years of experience to achieve successful projects in these sectors. In addition to all this, the factory earned the right to obtain ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification in 2009. Hika places great importance on R&D investments in order to produce at controllable quality levels, subjecting raw materials to sieve analysis, titration, oven and X-ray testing in its own laboratory.
