Founded in 1934 by German national Richard Ehrngruber in Thursday Market to provide services in surface treatment chemicals, polishing machines, polishes and machine tools, the company continued its business life as a joint-stock company with German and Turkish partners in 1977. Until 1998, our company continued as Turkey's representative of German company LPW. Following LPW's acquisition by Enthone in Germany, Enthone Turkey was established. During this period, with Kayhan Özgen's appointment as General Manager of Enthone A.Ş., Gamtaş A.Ş. temporarily suspended its commercial operations. From 2006 onwards, he left his position at Enthone and returned to lead Gamtaş A.Ş. Under the management of Kayhan Özgen and Reha Özgen, Gamtaş A.Ş. operates in the areas of surface treatment base materials, coating bath filters, pumps, accessories and supplies sales and service. Our products rank among Europe's best and most recognized. Nickel sulfate, chloride and copper sulfate imported from German company Nickehutte-Aue, for which we serve as representative, are among the world's finest products in their respective categories. Mefiag, a Dutch company for which we represent coating bath filters, is one of the world's leading companies in this field. Another Finnish company we work with, Luvata, formerly Outokumpu, is one of the most important suppliers of phosphorus and oxygen-free copper anodes in plate, ball and rod form.
